Faxmail User Guide
Description
Set your FleXtel number to route to Faxmail and you will be able to receive faxes direct to your registered email account! You will receive your fax as an email with a tif attachment, not only this but we also show you the FleXtel number dialled, the date and time of the call and the sender's phone number (Calling Line Identity - CLI). Where the sender's number is withheld, we notify you of all but the last three digits, to protect the privacy of the caller. Of course if you know the caller's number you can guess who's faxed. You can also see if someone is having difficulty sending a fax to you when you have Email Notification set.

How to activate Faxmail
Login to your Account, using your Account number, or any FleXtel Number, and its associated alphanumeric password (not the PIN)
Under 'Destination' use the drop down menu and select the option 'Faxmail'.
When you select Faxmail DND will be automatically turned off. However, you can reactivate this by clicking the check box.
When enabled you will receive an email from "your flextel number"@flextel.net. This format makes it easy for your email reader to sort your call notices into special email folders e.g. one for each number. Remember you may need to permit emails from flextel.net, if you use very strong 'spam' filtering.
